St. Martins Junior Karate Club
St. Martins Junior Karate Club is Lancaster and Morecambe's leading karate and martial arts club dedicated to children. The club have a fully matted dojo and has the latest equipment to aid with training. The club currently raises money for St. John's Hospice through the sale of refreshments at training sessions amongst other things.
Training with St. Martins Junior Karate Club
At St. Martins Junior Karate Club we teach traditional Wado Ryu
The club has two black belt instructors, Paul Turner(6th Dan) and
Chris Haggan (5th Dan) they both teach the traditional values that
have been passed on to them through martial arts.
St. Martins Junior Karate Club teaches all traditional Wado Ryu karate
techniques, Katas, Ohyos and Kihons. We also teach Kumite
(competition) and Ji Yu Gumite (free sparring). In addition we look
at other self defence techniques and also hold courses in other
martial arts from time to time.
Mondays (except Bank Holidays) 6.30-7.30pm
Sundays 10.30am-12noon (Competition and Self Defense Training and Adult Class)

After that it costs £3 for an hour on Monday or Wednesday, £3 for the Sunday session and £4 for the two hour session on Wednesday..
There is an annual £15 membership, which includes free insurance.
All other training equipment can be purchased at the club for
Students aged 5-7years old must be accompanied by an adult
(watching). And can only train 6.30-7.30pm Mondays and/or Wednesdays
at £3 per session.
